Jordan HARANG (RUSS), Ivory Tower, Annemasse Vibre Festival- Annemasse

An imaginary landscape/world in levitation, bringing together the artist’s favorite themes and elements: a transition from geometric/cubic to organic/vegetal, nested dimensions, concepts of passage (stairs, “door”/hole to move from one world to another), vegetal forms, habitation, human presence, cosmos, etc. The composition, in motion, “crosses” the façade.

In May 2022, during the “Annemasse Vibre” Festival organized by the Glitch Association in Annemasse, Haute-Savoie, visitors had the opportunity to explore a dreamlike and mysterious landscape created by the artist Jordan HARANG (RUSS). This transcendental art installation captivated the imagination by transporting viewers to a levitating world where the artist’s favorite themes and elements converged.

This intriguing work visually explores a transition from the geometric and cubic to the organic and vegetal while cleverly interweaving different dimensions. The artist plays with the concept of passage, incorporating elements such as stairs and “doors”/holes to move from one world to another. This immersive experience combines vegetal forms, human habitation, the presence of humanity, and even the cosmos, creating a complex and fascinating universe.

The dynamic element of this composition adds an extra dimension to the experience, as the artwork seems to literally “cross” the façade, inviting viewers to get lost in this ever-evolving world. The “Annemasse Vibre” Festival became the stage for this artistic fusion where the boundaries between reality and imagination blurred, allowing for a unique sensory exploration shaped by Jordan HARANG (RUSS)’s inventive spirit.
