MOMIES L’essentiel, Paris

The summer season was once again an opportunity to see the work of Mummies shine during the Essential festival. This event was held in a former postal sorting centre, now disused. Forty artists were able to express themselves and paint these 2,000 square meters of virgin space, thus giving free rein to their imagination. An exhibition that will mark the spirits with its singularities, in particular those of Momies, indeed, its abstract lines, produced with aerosol spray and acrylic paint, could be admired during this collective experience of ephemeral art. It was between July 8 and 10 that Momies therefore offered visitors, to use his words, “a fascinating mixture of colors and textures” in a style that is still as dynamic as ever, which is what makes the artist so special.
